I'm looking to replace the tires on my R20 single axel Boatmate trailer. They seem to wear most around the shoulder of the tire, probably because being a single axel they get a lot of horizontal swiveling action. The trailer was equipped with some "Trail America" brand. Any recommendations on a quality tire for this? Can I just go to any tire shop and have them replaced? Thanks in advance.

WOW- you must be putting some miles on that trailer being a 2013!! Hopefully the boat is getting as much use. I would check with a tire shop, but be sure the tires have a high enough weight rating to properly carry the load. I would call around as some tire shops don't deal with trailers as much as others."I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"

Yeah we've put on probably 2,000 miles in two years, a little more than I was expecting. A few trips up north and one waaay up north add up. Otherwise our home lakes are only 5-10 miles away.
BC rider I did a little search and found your thread, I've heard good things about Maxmiler as well. Thanks. BC looks amazing!
