I can attest to the polished metal fading gel coat. I just spent all day color sanding and buffing my lower color panel in the area of the fenders... Im going to remove the polished alumunim diamond plate and rhino-liner the tops of my fenders instead.

Crap WC, why did you mention this??? I had to go check mine and you are right, there is additional fading above the chrome steps on the trailer. Damn!
