I'm not sure about the manual location - but the buttons below the throttle are fuses. You can push these buttons to reset electrical items.

You got a nice deal on that boat - I'm on 3rd year of a 2001 V2300 and it has been a great boat.

What part of the country are you in?

I seriously doubt the Perfect pass is stargazer, considering it was a bank repo.

Most of the switches are not functional and good luck finding a manual...

The only manual you may really need is for the perfect pass to help figure out how to configure it for your riders. Check here:http://perfectpass.com/pp_support_usersmanual.html It may be the last one on the list if its been in there a while, or perhaps its the 6.5ng (mechanical with servo) if the prior owner added it more recently. I think the software version is listed on the display when you turn the unit on. You can also call perfect pass. They're great to deal with and located in Nova Scotia.

Despite the low hours, be sure to give serious thought to changing out the engine, v-drive, and transmission oils, and the sea water impeller, and fuel filter. Spark plugs and distributor cap and rotor may be worth looking at too. Changing trailer brake fluid and wheel bearing inspection or repacking is also a good idea.

If you haven't had inboards before or don't know, don't run the engine on the trailer with the transmission in gear.

I agree. That's the same engine I have and it's a 315 Tournament Ski Mag. Great engine, BTW. I got about 750 hrs on mine...mostly in the last 4 years.

Thanks for all the input guys. You've been great. Seems like a wonderfully patient and positive forum!!!

            I'm located in Austin, TX.

Good advice on service interval. I've already replaced the impeller and housing. Got all new fluids for the V-drive, tranny and motor sitting and ready to go including fuel seperator and oil filters. I'm very anal about maintaing my vehicles that's certainly on my top list. I would have done it prior to my first sea test yesterday but my brother had my electric pump & tank for pull the oils through the dip sticks.

I took her out yesterday after checking all the fluids, connections, belts, etc and replacing the impeller. She fired up perfectly and tranny seemed to engage flawlessly. I was very happy. Seems I celebrated too early. Shut it down and chilled with the woman for about an hour. Tried to re-start her & NOTHING. I believe the starter crapped out on me completely! Tried to jump it directly from the battery (battery was confirmed good) and motor won't turn so I'm 95% sure it was the starter. What a bummer! Luckily I was near my brother's house so it didn't require towing, etc.

One thing that troubled me. I couldn't seem to figure out the Perfect Pass system. I believe it is labeled as a "Rider's Choice by Perfect Pass". A very simple two button operation with a single red LED.
            1) ON/OFF & Increase speed - Right Button
            2) Decrease speed - Left button (maybe another function too)
            3) Hold both together to disengage

I couldn't seem to get it to work properly. Anyone have this exact setup? Am I missing something?

On & off button's only function is to engage and disengage the system. This can only be done in neutral.

When the systems on it will display the set speed. Up and down arrows will change the set speed.

Accelerate like normal and the system will beep and take over throttle control. To stop just pull up the throttle.

                Sorry,

                You have this dont you?

Drive up to the speed and then engage the system. It works just like the cruise control on your car.
