I tried doing a quick search on your type of engine here, but did not come up with anything yet on the fuel filter. Mine is older, and fortunatley easier to change. If at worst, I would call the Florida Tige dealership and talk to the service manager, perhaps they could give you some tips as to how to change it. I'm sure somebody here willchime in with all the info soon .

    Good luck.

It sounds like you have the right part. Replace the filter.

Someone else suggested it was like re-using the oil filter. You wouldn't dump that out and re-use it.

On my 2002 23V the fuel filter/water separator is right next to the impellor casing for cooling. V-Drive with motor facing the rear, it should be on passenger side or left hand side of boat towards rear. Hope this helps

Holy crap. I am surprised my boat ran last summer. Both inline exchangers were plugged solied with weeds, grass and muck. Boat should run a lot cooler this year and not have this fuel issue. Something I am going to check more often.

Anyone know how much oil the mp6.0 takes? I put 6 liters in and it is only up to the second hole on the dipstick. Oil filter is full. Just need to know how much more oil I need to buy. 140 bucks on amsoil already.

What motor do you have? Here is a pic of the 350Mag Merc. The fuel pump/cooler is located in the black box w/ the Mercruiser logo on it.
