frist time out this year ,and man its very hard to steer left and right. boat is 21v 02 tige, is there some where to lube.

Steering cables wear out for various reasons. Usually its not due to use but lack of use. When the cable gets wet. as its certain to do, the water gets inside and corrodes. Most of the time you notice this at the start of the season because the cable has been sitting and hasnt moved and also your not used to the feel of the wheel.
Ofcourse there are other theories about steering cables. One being that the fiction of the water builds up an electric charge on the steering cable and with the addition of water corrodes.Common Sense is not so Common
