Does anybody have any suggestions for the side to side sway or wobble that comes in the stock Tige Tower? I've thought of having some custom welding done with some extra supports but not sure I want to pay that much. I've checked all the bolts on the tower. I've checked the bolts underthe fiber glass on the mounts. The wobble has caused some spider web type cracks ine the fiberglass on the top.

I'm not sure how to tell what kind of tower I have. It has the board racks at the top of the sides and it says Tige on the mount portion of the board racks.Comment

I have a wicked 'wobble' on my tower as well. Checked all the bolts and everything is tight. I just live with it...

Yeah, thats it Waterskirebel. Mine is just polished alum. though. I'm thinking I'm going to need to have some welding done to tighten and spiff it up a bit. I don't want anymore hairline mini cracks in the fiberglass.Comment

No cracks for me with the same tower. On my old boat I got cracks when I overtightend the tower. Actually the wobble is not that bad for me.Let it be!!!Comment
