IMO why wait for a problem to occur with the fake teak! Jim has also made that statement to me and I think in this forum. He paid for teak. carter12,G-Money, and gman all had the fake Teak problems as seen in the other thread.

Since the market has fallen out on overstock from 2007 I have a multitude of choices I can make. I just need to travel to Northern Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan or other local state to find a new loaded 07 20V or 08 20V for $35k or less. Unfortunately if I go Tige, it just opens up my own can of worms.

As I understand it all I loose warranty wise is the Lifetime Replacement Warranty and I have to ask has 1 boat been replaced by Tige under this warranty? I haven't so it is not a red flag IMO The 3 year warranty transfers so Jimbo would be out of it if I buy his.

Remember I said I am contemplating buying a buddy of mines 2007 20V with 13 hours on it. That does not mean to either of us that I was committed and he is aware. From research here it appears that Tige makes a good boat but Jim got the Friday version and so have others. Time will only tell which direction I take. If I don't buy Jim's boat he will see if another boating buddy is interested or hopefully he will keep and enjoy once he can get the issues ironed out.

BTW, even real teak requires a lot of TLC. I have to clean mine 2 or 3 times a year to keep it looking good.
