Noise in steering colume

My 04 switch V makes a noise in the steering colume when under heavy acceleration.Everything is tight under the dash,mounts etc. Anybody have any ideas as to what this could be or any solutions.

Is it a metal on metal sound, almost a grinding? Does it happen when you straighten the wheel while pulling up a rider?
