    WTF?????
ragboy unless you have experienced a migraine and multiply the instantaneous pain by a factor of 20 or more I doubt you can really understand Jim's cluster head pain. It puts him on the floor grasping the left side of his head and eye and he rocks back and fourth for hours until the pain starts to dissipate. Go thru that cycle 4-6 times a day for over 10 years and you will always win friends and influence people. If he takes a medication from a family known as triptans like Imitrex he could have a heart attack since he had been on those types of drugs for years taking up to 10 a day. A short description of a cluster headache Jim unfortunately has. Relief to him is a day without one. Lately that is seldom. Once a month maybe. The ******* won't take a leave of absence to get it under control for a while.

I am sure the some in the forum would love this. A cluster headache is refereed to as the "suicide headache". It has been documented that people who get clusters are mainly men. Sufferer's are prone to committing suicide if the attacks are severe enough and the sufferer gets no relief and depression sets in.

I think Reed's is a PHENOMENAL dealer from my dealings with them and I am glad to hear they have been so good to Jim. They have bent over backward for me even when my requests were unreasonable.

I am also sorry you feel Tige will not be a good choice for you. 17 (and counting) out of 20 issues resolved sounds like ONE HELL OF A REASON to go with Tige to me!! But, I digress, it's your money, your choice and I truly hope you find a boat you love as much as I thought Jim loved his.

I would be curious to hear what comes of your issue with the teak if you wouldn't mind keeping us posted.

Have a great summer and again, best of luck.
        Jason,

I didn't think you would shed light on your resource(s) and that is your choice and good personal ethics. Great job.

I guess you didn't read what I wrote about Jim's comments regarding Reeds or how he felt about his boat or worded differently his "Pride and Joy".

He is a "Raving Fan" of Reeds Marine and the service group that works there on warranty issues for Tige. He found over 20 different issues with none related to past concerns that keep popping up. He actually found 21 but dropped the Tige logo sticker issue he had after Keith and him spoke. IMO Reeds and dealers like them make Tige successful because Reeds is the front line and has the direct customer commitment and feedback both good and bad. Keith is going to bat for Jim re the platform. Reeds Marine has award winning service and they show it.

Although his head would not let him get out on it again this weekend his family has convinced him not to sell even if they are getting very limited use. They decided to store it at my house so he does not have to drive up. This should get them more use since the Rock and Madison are not far from here.

Take this any way you want. I have to ask should there be 21+ warranty issues on a boat that has new boat status and has seen 6 vacation days of use? It also spent a year of it's life indoors in the showroom!

chpthril has found a good out for Tige. They can change from teak to Iroko but the way it is written and what they advertise(still) sort of obligates them to teak. When they changed from teak to other wood the clause covers them.

Since they went back to teak in the 2007 model year Jim may have a leg to stand on. If Tige Ownership and Management decides they do not want to work with Jim and listen to his case he will still be an owner of a better looking Iroko platform thanks to Reeds. Hopefully we will be surprised.

I still think Jim is right trying to get what he thought he paid for!

There still may be good news for owners with Iroko failures. The platforms in stock are teak and if you are lucky maybe you may get one on your next failure. Good Luck.

I am sure Jason that I won't have to post for Jim. Your sources should be able to keep you informed about what happens with the platform .

Have a good summer also. Sorry for being wordy. It comes from detailed after action reports.

        Zach

I thought you had a 21 foot Sea Ray, now it says Maristar MS 230. You swap boats overnight, or just dreaming?

Thank you for the help in determining which direction to take but "he" was not asking the question. I was asking for his wife & daughter. She is trying to surprise him before they go away in August. with my family and another friend & his family..

I made a stupid assumption that a Tigeowners might have an idea and might actually try being helpful.

Lee or whoever's in Abilene is on vacation so dealer has to wait until next week to get #. FYIA.

You need to ask the question better
Are you looking for dealer cost or MSRP?
