    Questions on a Stereo Upgrade

    Hew Gang,

I'm finally putting the boat on OK lake (in BC) this weekend. I've been talking to one of the stereo shops that my buddy works on. We were thinking of upgrading the tower (2) speakers with Wet Sounds "3-SOME package" with a new amp ....

I was wondering if anyone knows what type of gage of wire between the battery and the amp...

    Any info would help out....

    Thanks a million

That should be 4-gauge wire to one amp but the amp manufacturer would also supply that information in the manual.

Need to know what amp you plan on running, how the 3some will be wired to the amp i.e. in series, parallel, bridged, distance between battery and amp. Will more then 1 amp be powered of the same set of power/ground wires?

From this, you can figure wire ga and circuit protection.

Well, I got "Andres" in Vernon to install my 3some with 3 pairs of Hertz speakers on the boat...

I never imagine that I would get soooo many looks and complements also.
