May be the first in my life , but we have an 07 22I with a carb'd Merc 315hp on our lot right know. So, if the 315hp that your looking at is fuel injected, then I guess there is nothing wrong with it.

Well, he did say it was a 315 MPI. That engine is not carb'd.

I will say that I about $h!t myself last year when I say that this boat was carb'd So they did/do produce them.

Yeah, I saw that in the brochures. It's kinda odd because back in '99, they only offered the MPI. Makes you wonder why they go backwards.
