I have a new 22Ve and the speed varies by 1-1.5 mph above and below the set speed when pulling a boarder with Speedset engaged. It is never steady on the set speed. Is this a normal variance? With no one being towed the boat has a noticable surge in speed when Speedset is engaged. Is this normal?

When you reach the set speed, and the Speed Set takes over, you need to put the throttle lever to WOT (wide open throttle), if not, it will surge.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Perfect Pass has 2 settings that allow you to modify the values that dictate how far off from the set speed above and below. I do not remember what these were called. I know if you set these incorrectly it would surge trying to keep the speed as set. A too aggressively set value was not a good ride. Maybe there are settings similar to these for the Speedset that would help correct this problem. I know these really helped with the PP performance.

On the LCD, it shows "Set Speed" and "Actual Speed" Are these 2 the ones showing the fluctuation? Or is it the LCD "Actual and the needle gauge?
I think it can be adjusted, but not sure if it is done through scan tool or gage menu!Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

When I use Speedset on my 2007 20V set to 33mph and throttle at WOT in calm water( not butter), you can feel the boat surging up and down in speed every time I have used it. It is on my warranty repair list when I take it in for wsrranty work when we come back from Bullshoals in the Ozarks on the 21st.
