With our original OJ 14x18 prop we had to go full throttle to get me up on double skiis and it was still a little difficult.
With the Acme 537 13.5x16 we would go full throttle and it was a struggle just to hang on to the handle.
We started using a firm push on the throttle and usually do not get to full throttle and the skier/wakeboarder is up, depends on the skier/wakeboarder.
Our daughter, the wakeboarder, pops right up before I can even get to half throttle.
I rarely look at the tach, but I think it's around 3500.
I can tell by feel/sound when it's getting around 3800 and never take it over 4000.

Our 2000 21V came with the OJ 14x18.
Did your 2002 come with your ACME 381 13.5x17.5 ?
It would be logical for Tige to use the 381 as an improvement over the OJ.
I think the 2003s or 2004s started coming with the ACME 537 13.5x16 because ACME started making the 537 in 2003.
When I called ACME they recommended the 537 for our boat.

My dealer recommends the 537 for the None 1:1 drive.

Thanks for the reply and info Babich. As far as the prop, it is what came with boat when purchased. Not sure if the previous owners replaced it or if that is what the Tige dealership installed on it. The prop is in great condition, no dings or nicks.

Thanks skilaxn, sounds like we all have the same boat, sounds like the 537 is going to be the one.

I have a 4 blade right now and it seems fine but I want a spare prop just in case, nothing like loosing a vaction due to a problem. I'm a little leary of the 525 after talking to a few people about it with the 22v and it's weight and would hate to spend 500 dollars for a wrong prop. Anyone else have some real time tests with a 22v and a 335 MPI.

Talk to ACME, they'll set you up with the right prop.
