    Which prop 21v

hi, i´m from germany and here are tigé boats not so popular. we are driving a 2000 21v riders edition with a mag 350 mpi.
our boat has top speed of only 34mph /55km/h by 4000rpm. can anybody tell me which prop is standard, because i think there is something wrong... thanks.
by the way gas is here 10$ a gallon

I have an Acme 381, 13.5x17.5. Probably a little too much top end. If I had ballast tanks, I would probably need a little more prop. We board at about 2800 rpm, 21.5 mph with this prop.
Acme can help you out, great prop.

Hey Dogbert, you have the same boat, what are you running?

Welcome to the site! Post some pictures when you get a chance.

Those RPMs are low. You are right you will need a new prop. You can email ACME Propellers, from their contact info, on their website. They will need to know all of your info about your boat.

I have a similar boat (315 HP). It has a gear reduction V drive so I had to go with a different prop than dogbert. I got an ACME part #1237 size 13.5 x 14.25 4 blade prop with a 1.5 cup. Just picked it up Friday based on a recommendation from Jim at Acme Marine. I can not believe the difference in performance. The prop it replaced was an OJ 14 x 18. I was topping out around the same speed as you prior to the new prop. I just pulled the boat out of storage and only have had time for a quick rip across the lake so I am not sure how it is with balast but the boat was running like it had an extra 150 HP It jumped up to 43 in a hurry before I backed off on the throttle. Based on some other threads, I think the way to tell if you have the gear reduction is by the color of the V-drive. Mine is blue with a 1:1.5 ratio and it sounds like the 1:1 drives are black.
I had the right to remain silent, I just didn't have the ability. -Ron White

I think we have an identical boat to yours. Our V-drive is a Walter Gear Drive RV-26D, 1.46:1 ratio painted blue. If your V-drive is painted black it would be a 1:1 ratio which would require a different prop. Our original prop was an OJ 14"-18 pitch. I don't know if our boat will do the max RPM listed on the engine (4800-5000 RPM) because I've never pushed it that high. It does run around 35 MPH at 4000 RPM. I recently installed an Acme #537 13.5"-16 which is what Acme recommended for our boat. We do not have ballast. I'll be going out in 2 weeks for the first time with the new prop and see how it does. Our friend's 2004 Malibu came with an Acme #537 as do some newer Tiges. It probably wasn't put on our boats because the Acme #537 wasn't available until around 2003.

Thank you very much for your help . The Walter Gear Drive is painted black. I´m not sure but i think have seen the following numbers on our prop before going into the water: 13x13,5 / 1 1/2
Next week we will put the boat out of water to clean then i will take a look.

Had similiar issue as you. Sluggish hole shot and top speed of 37mph. I just put Acme 13.25 x 15.5 (857). Jumps out of the hole and tops @ 49mph...amazing difference!

Ok, you have the 1:1 Walter V-Drive. I have the same model. Get the Acme 525. Here's the thread I started on it: My new 3-blade prop

Where is the best place to buy Acme props?
I also am going to put on a #537 for better fuel economy and prper power range usage.
