Any one out know the Teleflex part number and cost for the steering cable on a 2001 21V limited. I looked all over the old one and can't find the Mfg part number.

From reading on the Teleflex site the cable lengths would be different. The Teleflex replacement cable no. would be SSC52xx (xx = ft) for the Morse 290 rotary helm. Don't know if the helm change was made midyear, but the dash would have to be reworked to get a rack & pinion under there. Does anyone know the cable length for a 2000 21V with a rotary helm? When I talked to a Teleflex rep last year he said a helm will usually last 2 or maybe 3 cables. The teeth in the helm wear out.Comment
