Does Tige publish Maintenace manuals for their different models of boats. I had one for my Four Winns 180SE and am wondering if Tige has one with common maint references and boat wiring diagrams for a late model 20V?

We have enough technically oriented people in the forum that with maint manuals we could proberly care for our investements.

Not that I've seen. I got a basic 'Features Manual' in a briefcase type satchel along with some other warranty paperwork with my boat. More of a 'this is a TAPS system' and 'guidelines for safe boating' type of documentation. Pretty basic...

There has been plenty of discussion on this subject/topic.....sure wish they would have something. if its engine stuff you want take a look at the pcm and indmar web sites. I downloaded their engine and operating manuals and have that info at home and office. I aksed TIGE for a wiring diagram/skematics and got them e-mailed to me for a 2005 24v with the marine pwr 5.7l engine 340hp.

What are you looking for specificly? It's like onw main harness that runs around the boat and everything branches off of it. Most everything not related to the engine, it labeled at the ends.

I wouldn't hold your breath for it. They provide this to their mechanics at the dealership for a cost I am sure.

If possible I would like shop manual and electrical for reference. After warranty is up up I typically work on boat myself like many of you so I wanted to see if there is reference info available. If it is not free I am more than willing to buy.

So far I am striking out. Have put calls in and of course landed in Voice Mail for Lee yesterday and Harvey today. So far no responses to the Voice Mails. Monday I will try again and I am fairly certain that it will be three strikes and I am out. The choice I have to make Monday is who I leave the voice mail for.

I think there were other members that tried exactly what you have done and came up with nothing also. IMO, Tige wants you to take it to their dealer for service. But again, if chpthrill is right, all the wires are tagged.

chpthrill is right the wires are tagged but the ex computer hardware engineer in me still likes diagrams. I got surprised a little after 5pm CST and Texas time when Tige appeared on my phone. The person who called me suggested I talk to another guy who would be back in on Monday. The second guy has been out of office for a couple of days so I will try for my third strike on Tuesday maybe Wednesday 7 May. Heck it may be possible to get part of what I am looking for.

Yes. Got the wiring info today. Like going to the painlesss Polish Dentist. Was Easy as Pie

After a couple of calls to Tige to find the right person I now have the wiring diagrams I was looking for for a 20V no charge.

The resource was also helpful enough to get me the name and phone number at Marine Power who is sending me the Vortec Maintenance Manual. Unfortunately this was not free. It was $50.00 but if it tells me what I want to reference it will be worth it.

Finally persistence paid off/
