barefoot boom on V-drive

I am thinking of buying a 'footin boom for my Tige 2100v.... I have been looking at those funky bent booms that connect to the ski pylon and then bend forward......
Or... maybe a boom connected to the tower.... I have an Atlantic Tower...

Any thoughts ??

Fleetpaint - Thanks for posting pictures. I too have a 2100v, and I'd like to get a boom.

What are the +'s and -'s of both types of booms?

I like the tower boom, it gets you farther foward out of the boat spray. it goes on & off fast & easy! it fits in the port side storage area, but beeing 3 pieces, it is a little har to handle.the initial instalation was easy w/good instructions. all in all a good fun boom.

FIC has installed and I believe used a barefoot international boom that attaches to the tower so I would definitely shoot him a pm, he is on here quite a bit and a Tige dealer.

Did you ever end up getting a boom?

I ride with Brian at FIC and he has one on his boat its great. He uses it mostly for teaching which is great. He put me on it and had me doing things I never thought about trying and working on body position. It really has been helpful and easy to use.
