They take the standard IO engine (4.3 merc) which had 175 hp, and make it 225 with fuel injection. I'm surprised they only get a 25hp jump with the 350. Does anyone know if the claims that fuel injection is more fuel efficient are true?
F/I actually does very little to increase hp. It's just a better way to deliver fuel. You get better throttle response, increased fuel mileage due to less unburned fuel passing right through the cylinder on the end of the exhaust stroke/beginning of the intake stroke, smoother Idle due to ECM control, easier starts.

Fuel only works in an engine when it is atomized to a fine spray. Injectors do this perfectly, and only spray (on-time controlled by ECM) when the intake stroke is beginning (intake valve open). This results in a more complete burn of the air/fuel charge, less wasted fuel, and lower emissions. With a carb, fuel has a tendency to fall out of suspension while in the intake, and puddle up as liquid fuel again. Fuel in a liquid form will not combust, and therefore travels right out the exhaust as HC (hydrocarbon) emissions.

Beat me too it but here you go (and yes I was told the 320 is new for 08 and the new standard):

My friend's 247LSV has TBW. His sub hits so hard that it will drop the trottle back to the neutral position if you don't have your hand on it. That's the part that sucks. You can't do anything with your right hand if you have the radio turned up.

That seems weird, a guy I know has $thousands of dollars into a huge system with multiple subs in the cockpit and TBW and it never does that.

2 - 10" right at the drivers feet (cockpit) granted it is a Mastercraft he has speakers all over that damn boat/tower u cant even get near it when it starts to get turned up, but still TBW is TBW and as far as I know it has never hiccup'd on him.

He should be able to adjust the resistance on the throttle pivot to not do that. I have seen an older one apart and there was a simple screw to tighten that crushed down on a bushing a little more to add more resistance.
