    Why no Observer Bucket Seat?

    I have not been able to find a new V-Drive Inboard that has a observers bucket like (sorry) the 1999 MC Maristar 230 Sport. If I am not mistaken they only made it with dual buckets for two years (1999 & 2000).

    Does anyone out there in v-drive or even i-drive lands know why no buckets can be found on new V-drives. We found dual buckets nice to have and I am sure you could still build storage space in front of the bucket and have access in a couple of different places.

    Any Ideas?

    They did have it on some older models.

    Probably becuase where you could have a bucket seat for 1 person you could have a bench for 2 or 3.

      Yeah but that was before open bow walkways. The bucket was a top seller with MC but then it went away. Is one of many reasons why a Tige and no MC other than the 10k to 20K difference when you add options.

        Moki has one in his 23V. Not sure of year ....01 or 02 maybe

        He posted a pic not to long ago.

        If Im not mistaken, somebody, like MC, came out with one for the 07's or 08's, but not sure. Search WW, I know there was a pic.

            the 02 03 23v had them as well. im not sure about other years or models. i to love the look and function of the daul buckets!!

              Who made them ? Do any 07/08 have them? If so D_mn........

              and thanks. I didn't look at 02 and 03 and was mainy an MC fan then .My bad.

                i know for sure no 05 06 07 08 have them. the only tige i have seen them in is the 23v im not sure but i dont think they made an 04 23v either.

                  Nope, it was pretty much limited to the 23v. Surfdad's got one of those as well.

                    By putting a bucket there you lose seating for 2-3 as well as a big chunk of storage. My last boat (Rinker) had dual buckets and I like the benches better. The bucket just got in the way...

                      In my Four Winns we loved the dual buckets. Too each his own. That was a requirement on that boat I hated on those boats back to back seating.

                      I can see the observer seats on the direct I drives but the V drives do not have same needs....

                        There are a couple with an observers seat in this thread on WW, but none pictured with the duel buckets. I know someone has one now.

                          I think I heard that Malibu offers it this year? Maybe just the Corvette boat though.
