Y'all thanks for looking. I didn't thing I was crazy if there are only a couple in current production on boats that are not in my Budget like the Malibu's and possibly moki's boat.

It is almost save tosay that 98% or more are set up with only 1 bucket ans a sleeping lounge for the observer,

What will be funny is when (and they will) someone else puts out a duel bucket tow boat and they get ripped for copying Bu, we'll have to pull the card and say Bu copied Tige

As stated before the 247 has a option for a bucket seat or a bench....

I have been in both 247's and I would go with the bench just because it gives you more room and more storage...

Who cares. Dual buckets have been around for years on other types of boats. I don't understand how anyone can say one boat is copying another boat.

Here's mine (01 23V). I think they stopped doing the passenger bucket in '03.

I agree Dog, I dont know why people that buy $90k boats need to worry about who had a feature on a boat, such as a nose design, first.

I think the answer has got to be pretty simple, demand. I think more and more people want passenger capacity. I know several people that buy vdrives, and go in with other families, so its not a one family boat. On our lake, every wakeboard boat is most likely filled with people. I rarely see a single family in a wakeboard boat, as much as I do runabouts and stuff.

I just always wonder why can't they make it an option. Let the buyer decide what they want.
I'm sure it comes down to expense. All things do.

probably because the top half of the boat is cast as one piece, including the seat base. Adding a bucket option would require a second top half mold, and would be extremely cost prohibitive.

If you notice, they eliminated the bucket when they went to the penske extreme stringer system in 2004. The '03s were the first with an all composite stringer system, but it was four fiberglass (vs. the traditional 2) stringers. Before that, they were wood.

Not necessarily, my neighbor bought a brand new 24 LSV for less than a 22' Tige.

With the 22' boat seating up to 14 people, I would consider a duel bucket configuration again and worry about loosing a couple of peeps

with dual bucket. I can't believe only small amounts were made with dual bucket. IMO they would be nicer boats. Our Seray and my FourWinns had them and we really liked them.
