I think Dogbert is passing on setting up the re-union. Darn he would have made a great host. Maybe some other time:

I'll see what happens this first season with my 07 20V and go from there. Have two resorts in mind. One is nicer because you can walk to dock. The other is nicer because cabins are nicer on Bullshoals.

The one on Tablerock has new owners and they have dumped a bucketfull of money fixing up the place and it is the one that you can walk to your boat.

How many families normally show up ?

1st yr @ the Mead Cold Water, there were like 12 owners. This past one it was up to 21-21. Our first last yr we had 9. I hope to triple that this year

What is the average age of the Tige Owners? Since it is midwest it normally would need to be in the summer months. Do you think that would be an issue?
Last but not least how many midwetern Tige boaters are you aware of?

Dont know the avg age, but you might find that it has been a tigeowners poll. Matt has all the old polls listed here and asking for new suggestions.

Summer is a great time to do one, just really depends on the weather of your area. The tough part is finding a good weekend that is not too close to holidays or school starting/ending and other stuff.

There are quite a few midwest tige owners on here (dont know how many owners there are out there) but the best thing to do is get with you Dealer and tell them you want to get an Owners Day going, if they dont already do one.

Thanks for the offer. This year I want to play with the 20V and next year see if I can arrange a get together in the Southern Ozarks. I prefer Bullshoals personally because of its orientation to the wind you can consistently find calmer water than TableRock. The downside is you would have to drive down to the boat. I can do either lake and I am willing to take a survey of what lake you and your families prefer. I have been hitting both lakes for 14 years so I have a godd feel for resorts. The resort picked is dependent on how many people come down and are willing to front a deposit in January. In a couple of cases we would use the whoke resort. Both of the ones I have in mind are dog friendly. I am going down to my two favorite resorts this year so I may be able to get a discount if I can get a rough head count before June, Both of the resorts in mind have pools and one has a Jacuzzi and a little store where you can get Pizza Ice Cream drinks( no alchohol) and snacks. The cabins have been repainted and some refurnished and I think will hold 20+ families if families share some of the large cabins. If you guys get me some of the info or are interested PM me. again this would be for 2009 because I intend on playing and learning my new toy.

I will see my dealer at the Milwaukee Boat show tomorrow and can find out if they would sponsor one in the southern Ozarks. IN my previous post I have asked y'all to PM me if you are interested.

I am going to start a new thread on this over the weekend in the General discusion Board so people will be able to see. We will see what we can do for 2009. 2008 is going to be spent playing with the new toy and trying to get back to skiing and then attemp a the First Annual Midwestern Get together where the water does not give your privates frost bite

Lake Norfolk is Nice But I prefer Bullshoals and Tablerock. They are much larger and havegood access to other thinks like Silver Dollar City to name one.

Both of them have an advantage ove Norfolk due to shear size and the number of side branches that go to other coves. You need a compass and a map of the lake(s) or you can easily get youself lost but you can always find calm water on either lake. Typically due to orientation it is a longer ride to find calm on table rock.

To be clear I am not going to try hosting this in 08.

1- it will be first year using the boat.

2- Not a lot of time to prep Tige, the Dealer, and the resort.

3- I would rather talk to the resort owners to see if they have interest.

Were just trying all of the lakes and different resorts. We already found good resorts on Table Rock and Bull Shoals so now we are going to Norfork.
