I towed with pylon up to two tubes in '06. Went to rear eye hooks in '07 after reading about the subject on this forum. Pain though. I might go back to pylon for 1 or 2 tubes in '08. Nobody has had any actual problems, just fears so far, right?

          Tessa,
Did you buy from Reed's Marine?
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

There was no stated weight limit just no parasailing on my old Four Winns and the family Searay. The MC's in the family don't state weight limit just no sailing. The MC's have much stouter pylons so who knows. I have 4 months to wait

Yes at the end of season. Color pattern gives it away

I think you can tow more than 1 skier. As for tubes, that's different. I tow 2 O'Brien Superscreamers from my pylon. It's a 3 person tube. Sometimes the kids submerge both of them and we've had the tow rope snap the last time. That's a lot of force. So, I started towing from the lift rings.

I think you'll find that your 20V still makes a better towboat than your old boat.

Anyways, I was just trying to help.

I did not buy a boat with a pylon just for decoration. I have skied and tubed off of 1999 Maristars and othe MC's and we did not use lifting rings. A Pylon should be able to hold the load that a common tow hook holds on older I/O's but it is for a ski/wakeboard boat to have to revert to lifting rings. Gimmee a break,

                      sorry

Yeah, my wife and I looked at that boat (just "looked"..not to buy) I thought it looked familiar. It looks really good!
Reed's is great to work with, you'll really like them. I am pretty hard to impress but they have wowwed me.

Do you go to the Chain? I've only seen 1 other Tige out there.

You're rolling up the miles huh!?

My buddy has a house on Table Rock; I think we're gonna take a week down there this summer. Is it nice? He says it's great for wakeboarding because there are a lot of "finger inlets." I figured it'd be a cheap vacation.

If you head down there go to Bullshoals. Better skiing/boarding. Typically calmer than the Rock . Both Lakes are crystal clear and big.
