    2nd battery for 07 20v question?

    does anyone have a 07' 20v and have a second battery in it for the stereo? do i need one? (tower speakers and amp)
    any help is appriciated!

    Wow, that's odd that yours didn't come with the EIDB. Comes std if you get such options as ballast, Tower speakers, heater, etc.

    To answer your question, yes. I would recommend one, especially if you plan on spending some time beached/anchored playing the tunes. A 2nd battery, separated with an Isolator, will keep the accessories from running down the Starting battery, but will be charged by the alternator while the engine is running.

    Pretty easy project. Couple of bills and a few hrs and you got it done. Check the thread out under How To's http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3985

        regardless of your stereo, every boat needs a 2nd battery. Thats just my opinion though. I'll never buy a boat with only one.

              Hey - Don't feel bad... I'm new to this too... I had a 20V with one battery and it was fine... Technically you don't need a second battery...

              However I'm moving to a wetsounds setup on my new boat that is definitely going to need that second battery...

                  Don't worry, it's pretty easy to add a second battery. It's definitely one of the easier DIY.
