Got to demo a 20V yesterday and I had a couple of questions. First the cruise control did not work and the rep said it was there is a lot of muck by the lift it was on as well as a bunch of weeds in the channel. Has anyone had the same problem? Doesn't the paddle wheel make weeds a non issue? The other thing was that the wake seemed wide for my son. He could not clear the wake with a 60 foot line and was able to clear it no problem earlier with an X9. Can that be adjusted? We loved the boat and would love to make it work.

Was the speedo working? Tige uses a single paddle wheel for the for both the speedo and Tige Speed Set. Not sure if you or the salesman knew, but there is an On/Off switch on the dash. Once it is turned on, Set your desired speed and she should work.Last edited by chpthril; 09-30-2007, 09:50 PM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

As for the wake, it's something you'll need to get used to. A Tige wake is going to be a bit different from an MC wake. You can dial it down a bit with TAPS and it's possible it wasn't cleaned up as nicely as it should be.
Maybe you can get the service guy to demo his boat?Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

I have to press the center button "smartly" on the speed control to get it to work.
I think I wasn't pressing it hard enough.
Any debris on the paddle wheel messes the operation up too.
Also, it needs to be above 13 MPH to work,, or it seems that it needs to be, I could be wrong.
Still like it much better than Perfect Pass.

If your son is skilled enough to clear the wake, he should be able to clear the wake with a 60 foot line. I would be wondering if you were going too slow. Were you at 21-23 MPH? Tige wakes tend to be wider, so a shorter rope is usually the rule, but 60 feet seems short enough to me.Be excellent to one another.

I know older boats need the perfect pass, and the new boats can not use it due to the throttle by wire. I was just wondering what you guys thought?Common Sense is not so Common
