Spots to Mount Amp - 2005 20V Switch

Hey, can anyone give me some input on good mounting locations for an amp on an 05 20V Switch. I haven't picked up the boat and am sizing up an amp for tower speakers. The amp dimensions are: 10.9''W x 2.7''H x 19.6''L - haven't bought the amp yet - is there a spot where it will tuck away? BTW anyone have some pic's of the storage areas which might be of use for audio near to the deck?

There normally mounted on the passenger side inside wall of the walk through but you have to be carefull with your screw lenght .

I'll post some pics of what I just did on an 07 20V, I placed them in the same spot as FIC does.

It's hard to see, but I made some simple pedestals for the amps to mount to.

Supplies:

1 X 2 green pine wood cut into 10" lengths
upholstery/trim spray adhesive
scrap Tige carpet left over from a delivery
box of # 8 1.5" SS screws

First I cut the wood in lengths that would be long enough to mount the amp to.

Next I cut the scrap carpet to cover the wood and glued it on using the trim adhesive.

Next I used the 1.5" SS screws (3 per pedestal) to attach the carpet covered wood pedestals to the inside of the port storage walkway wall. Width based on width of amp. 1.5" screws gave me about 3/4" bite into wall.

Now mount the amps using the factory supplied screws.

The pedestals will give you room behind the amps to run your wires as well as create some space for air to circulate.

Sorry, went to go get the boat..... Picked it up in Chattanooga, $25,500 including 2 wakeboards and some other equipment.

here is what i did to my 06 22v. i put my 1000W sub amp under the factory zx350 powering my four rear component speakers,

I have my 600W amp for my NVS Entity tower speakers, and another 200W amp for my front component speakers under the opening of the passenger area storage
