    curved windshield glass

I need replacement for starboard curved windshield for 1999 21V Riders. The glass is discontinued per Tige' and Water Bonnet. Any sources out there? I have been on line and telephoned all locations and am striking out.

Have you checked a glass place like Binswanger or Harmon? They do a lot of insurance work so if anyone would know, they might.

Their are custom safety glass shops through the car restorer sites if ya strike out.
Also, another line may still use the same windshield.
Tige seems to be the only line that changes anything for the better.

              Windshield for 99 21v

Thanks for the input and I will try all avenues. The problem is curved windshields are the worst for replacing. My next ste is the insurance company and pay the deductable if they can find a replacement.
What happened is something (Rock?) hit the glass and broke thru, glass everywhere while towing on highway.

I would think you might want to go threw the insurance. To replace something like that will be some major $$$'s IMO.

Sam - any luck finding the windshield piece? There must be some boats out there with major hull damage.

Does anyone know where to get the rubber T moulding that goes along the top edge of the curved windshield?

I don't remember what color they were back in 99. Was it black or silver? Was the windshield 2 separate parts, meaning the back leg was a separate part that slid into the curved portion?(removing the windshield allows it to slide out of the aluminum extrusion) Let me know, I may have one floating around at the house.

The 2006 22i windshield should be the same footprint but the center hatch may not work. That may be an option for you.

My windshield has a manufacturers stamp on it. See if you can find it and look them up on the web. I was able to find ours on the web, just can't remember the name. Good luck.

I feel for ya. The driver's side on ours got shattered the day I bought the boat and was towing it home. It's been a few years ago, but I seem to remember it was in the $600 dollar range. We were able to order through the Tige dealer.
