Impeller Part Number

Hello all,

I am in the process of changing my impeller on my '03 22v.
I looked at the sticky on how to change the impeller and picked up part number :
17954-0001 from overtons.

I got the old impeller out and the impleller sleeve had 2 flats on the inside of it - 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom.
The one I got from overtons (part number 17954-0001) only has 1 flat on it - then the rest is round.
I havent put the new one in - but It just doest seem to look like the old one.

is this normal??

Just an fyi - for my 22v - the mercruiser 350 MAG MPI motor, the impeller part number is MER47-862232A2

Can be found on most online sites - just do a google search or talk to your local boat shop.

The sticky is for a Marine Power engine.

I had trouble getting the correct impellar for my 04' 20V. Apparently the different engine brands is too much for the dealer to keep track of. I finally had to get the pump model number off the pump itself, and they finally sent me a new one.
