I can see your point and frustration. It seems that Tige gets very busy during the boating season and slack off on customer support and then when it comes to winter, they get all caught up..... Am I just imagining this it what they are doing?

I didn't know there was bungie was also but I know other racks make some bungie ones that I would have thought that Wake Designs would have incorporated into their racks.....

So the seat backs did not need replacing, just the seat bottoms? They all got soaked in lake water, right? Wouldn't the seat backs need replacing too?

            And it cost how much?

Maybe. The rubber ones cost me $40 for a complete rack set, including shipping. So I know have 3 extra straps. Pretty cheap to replace, and I have extra, so I am ok with em. But the rubber ones are def easier to break on big boards and sharp edges.

Monster uses bungie cords for theirs. I would think their surf rack cords would work on the Wakedesigns racks.

I don't think so, the WD racks have a unique design as far as the way the straps mount.
