Ok, how are you guys using these lubricants to lube your cables? I tried using a syringe and lithium greese to lubricate mine. It did help out a bit, but the lube is very difficult to get it in the cable. So in the end I did not get much in. I wish there was a way to spray it in somewhere.

        With this:

it clamps onto the cable, where the seal is. There is a small hole on the bottom side of the assembly, which you use the red tube that comes with the spray lube. This forces it into the sheath.

Do you have pics of where you use this at the steering wheel end?

I'm going to have to try this. My steering has been a little stiffer since we started wakesurfing. I get a lot of water in through my blower vent, which on my boat is a rather large opening on the transom below the rubrail.

Just wanted to update this. You need a good drill bit to drill into the cable housing. Once in use the syringe to get your lubricant of choice in. I am finding seafoam works excellent for lubrication and followed up with the engine coolant. Really loosens it up.
