My third Tige. NEW RZ2!! WOW!!

I couldn't take it any longer, have to show the new RZ2. Bought from Lee at Ski Hut in middle TN. Can not imagine a better dealer anywhere. Thanks Lee. The picture is borrowed from his website. Shows boat but without the tower speakers. The stereo that Lee and his staff installed is awesome (Thanks Jeff!!).
I traded an '03 22v. Thought I would go through the pros an cons of the new boat and see what comments the rest of you might have. (For pt. of reference I have the 340hp engine and factory ballast. '03 had 315hp and custom ballast by Lee. Rival type system with scoop and gate)
1-Wakeboard wake is substantially better. Smoother, easier to clean up, and much more crisp lip.
2-Power out of the hole is much better. Faster plane and just all out more power.
3-Factory ballast sucks so far. I am having the same vapor lock problem as everybody else. Any fixes yet?? Also, your knee will hit the switches. Bad location.
    4-Mesh seat rocks!!
5-Surf wake does not compare to '03. I am still working on finding a good combo but it appears that factory ballast, etc. is not going to do it. The '03 with only my wife and 5 yr old in the boat would throw a big enough wake (with ballast) that I could easily do spins etc. I struggle to get a big enough and clean enough wake to simply surf with the RZ. This is only preliminary findings- stay tuned for updates as I try to find ways for improvement.
6-Factory ballast causes a lot of loss of space in rear storage. Can't fit wakeboard or surfboard in there any more.
    7-Handling is superb!!
8-A major head turner!! Everyone looks!

IMHO, AWESOME boat with only a few fixable issues to work out. How do you like!!

Let us know how the black turns out. We have had a few mention water spots. Tell us what you use to get rid of them. Looks like a very nice boat. Welcome back to Tige....

            Congrats!!!! Awesome color combo!

I'm having no issues with water spots on my RZ2. I put a good coat of wax on there when I bought it and wipe it down when we pull it out of the water and have had no issues at all.

I like the black on my boat, it's easy to see where to get the spots off. No questions as to clean or not clean, on the white surfaces it's hard to see spots and my last boat I got a lot of hard water build up because it wasn't that obvious. Pros and cons to both, but the black makes other colors pop. Just my Oh and it is a great looking boat.

Beautiful boat! Time will tell what the surf wake will do. I have seen pics of it loaded up and they were able to surf fine, but complained the edge of the platform cut into the wave and made a funky riding surface.

Now you need to go sell some more drugs to pay for that bad boy!

When I test drove the RZ2, I too was amazed at the hole shot. The wakeboard wake looked spectacular.
                Be excellent to one another.
