how many people do you have w/ you? If you have enough to where you can get more weight on the surf side and create a decent looking wave then my guess would be anywhere from 10.2-11.6 depending on how many people you have.. Also depending on how many people you have the TAPS should either be at 4-5 if you have a decent number or higher if there are only a few of you...If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

I have the 04 Switch V, which has the 20V hull. Honestly, I think that the best taps setting is 1, while the speed is 10.7. This seems to clean the wake up better than any other speed/taps combo. I am running 600lbs in the rear left compartment, and 150 in the front left. Soon, I should be dropping a 450 sac in the left near the bench, so I'll throw some pics up.

I like the Launchpad Link system because it has quick connects and a back-flow valve (which translates to virtually no water spillage when putting the cap back on or connecting the pump to empty them). The flow on their Ueberpump is about the same as a Tsunami.
Flying High has the best specialized sacs (both the Bow Sac, which is horshoe shaped, and the Enzo, which is a surf sac). They also have an optional backflow connector, but it apparently restricts the flow by about half (I have not verified this).Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

I don't have the valve on my Fly High, but do on my Launch Pad. Both fill at the same rate.
As for spillage, it is an issue regardless of my amp locations because it causes mildew. I've had my boat for 8+ years and it still doesn't smell as bad as my friends (his filled up with water and sat there for a while before he aired it out). Once it starts smelling, you can't get rid of it.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

No, I use the Tsunami/Fly High without the check valve and the LaunchPad/Ueber with the check valve. I was just saying that the design of the LaunchPad check valve doesn't seem to restrict the flow of the pump. Both pumps are around 1100-1200 GPH pumps. I have no experience with the Fly High check valve. Someone just reported on this board that Fly High told them that it restricted the flow by 1/2 with their check valve. That's all I know.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

curious what sort of ballast systems people are using in the 20v
i have no stock ballast, but hoping to pick up a few fat sacs.. and i'm not sure which sizes will fit in the rear lockers, or anywhere else.
also curious on pumps - looking at the tsunami right now
thanks for any help
The site will list both the dimensions and weight plus picture of each bag. Measure your compartments and pic out what fits best. I got for and love them
Tsunami's seem to be the cheapest for that GPH rating. $30 for 1200gph
Hopefully some others will give some feedback on the best way to weight it down.
*EDIT* well crap, Wakeside has gone up on those recently, they are know $38Last edited by chpthril; 07-18-2007, 12:33 AM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
