I live 3 hours to the north, so have never been to Folsom. I live in Magalia, in the mountains, just 9 miles north of Lime Saddle Marina at Lake Oroville.

I researched for 2 years, and was real close to buying a Malibu. There are no Tigé dealers anywhere up here. And when I started, I didn't know of Capital. It was new. But I saw the site, and the web video tests, and I was very impressed by the features, like rear activity center, and the walk through transom, and the flip cushions to step on. So I just couldn't buy a malibu without checking the Tigé. So we called Tigé again, and they said they now had a dealership in Rancho Cordova. So we drove down, and got in the boat, and that was it. My wife liked the mastercraft bow, huge, but I didn't like it, because it took all the cockpit space away. I liked the malibu cavernous cockpit, but it was a tiny bow. And I hated that black tower. Tigé 24Vé was a balance for us, and perfect, and we loved it. AND it was $15k cheaper? That was a no brainer. Once I felt ok about the wake system, we bought it.

I still can't believe I have that wake, with no ballast, and I have the same fuel economy as my 220 horizon.

Well, I am surprised you didn't go to their Rocklin store then. That was closer but I think the Rancho Cordova office is their main office. Well, that kind of sucks that you are up at Lake Oroville but I think that lake is also good for boarding also. Tell me if I am wrong?????

If the dealership has another camping trip this year, I am sure we will meet then or somewhere in between.... But, you need to post pictures... Let us all be envious and soak in your joy....

Just think when you get even better and want to put more ballasts into the boat. It will be huge.....

I went to cordova, because they only had like 1 24Vé in at the rocklin store. So another 20 mins, and I can see a larger stock.

I will post pictures, we forgot cam this last weekend.

Lake Oroville is a great lake. The great thing, is that it is not so well known. People a bit north, go to Shasta. West, there is berryessa and clear. South is folsom and the delta. So oroville is not so well known. It is a HUGE lake, so tons of room, and lots of fingers, arms and coves, to find smooth water. I think it gets a bad wrap, because the main marina, bidwell, is in the town of oroville, which is kinda dumpy. Also, it is a big fishing lake, so people don't think of it as a board lake. But Lime Saddle marina (just renamed lake oroville marina) is on the northern tip of the lake, just outside the town of paradise and magalia, where I live. I can tell you that boarders/skiers out number the fisherman on the weekends now, not so a few years ago.

We moved hear from the L.A. area. And we moved up north, to live close to a great lake, thought it would be Shasta or Trinity. But the north end of Oroville, and living up here in the Mountains is incredible.

Congrats on the new boat and welcome to the site. You and your family will be happy you chose a Tige

I happen to think of it, and was able to order my '06 with the grab handle shown.

Yeah, thats exactly what I am looking for. I am surprised its an option. Seems like it should be a standard feature.

I agree. I'm kinda bummed now that I didn't notice that it was an option before I placed the order for my 22Ve. It is supposed to be completed at the factory sometime this week so it's probably too late to get the order changed.. maybe I'll give my dealer a call tomorrow
If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

There is apparently a lot of options on the Tige's. I am amazed myself that with the price of these boats, that something as simple as this would be an option also.. Well, no one said boating was inexpensive.

Wow, no grab bar on any of the Ve’s
How do you get back into the boat after a nice long ride on the board?
I don’t know about you guys, but I use my grab bar all the time.
My bar also has a hook that we use for the tubes.
Tige, it's a way of life!

Well, I take my board off while in the water and the get into the boat. Not very easy trying to get into the boat with the board anyways. But, that bar would make my entry into the boat after a few sets much easier....

Okay, I am cheating also. I use the CWB Faction hinge tech and everything goes on and off very easily......

The handle is an option, we just got it on our 22ve. I think it cost us about $90. I wasn't aware of the tube style and don't think this is was an option for us. Just an FYI - We just took delivery of the boat on Saturday and waterskied on Saturday and Sunday - can't say that I ever remember my wife or I using the handle.

Putting one of these one must be a PITA... Has anyone had the "pleasure" of doing this yet??? Would be interesting to hear how the experience was....

How hard can it it? Measure, measure again, mark holes drill holes thru thick transom, hit something important in engine compartment, call dealer, fix boat, joy of doing yourself = priceless.

Ok just kidding, but its just holes in the boat. Even though It took some courage to drill the 1st hole. After the first one the rest were easy.
                                Let it be!!!
