I just bought a shower for my 22V. For those of you who have one, where did you mount the control unit?

We installed the Shower this weekend (my 8 year old daughter and I). It works great, and my wife is happy that it is out of the way and in it's own cabinet. Total time for install was approx. 2 hours, and I thank Tige' Watersports boat gurus Ariel and Greg for their assistance on showing me what parts I may need and which lines I could cut on my new engine. Here is the detail of the process for a 22V -
1) Take out the hot water port plug on the top port side of the block, (use an allen Wrench) and replace with a 1/2" x 1/2" threaded to nipple adapter. Then connect 1/2 ID heater hose.

Now you need to find the cold water intake. On the 22V on the stern end of the motor locate the impeller housing and on the Starboard side is the pressure side. following it up it is the hose shown here. The silver canister is a transmission cooling adapter, you will need to cut the hose before the adapter. install a tee with a 1/2" port to hook up your cold water heater hose.Attached Files
