I'm also looking at new dimension towers. Does anybody know how this tower works on my boat?

Based on my research, you will get spider cracks in any tower that doesn't have a stress relief system built in because the older boats were not as thick around the locations of the tower mounts like the newer stuff, and Monster has the best type from what I have seen. As far as dimension towers, I am sure you can get one for your boat, as with any manufacturer, but I don't think any of the new generation of towers look very good with the older slalom look boats.http://www.wakeboatworld.com

As far as the towers that will transfer the least amount of flex to the boat I do like the Monster. Before we bought our Tige we had a Sea Ray and almost bought a monster for it. Then we just decided to get a whole new boat. I do like the monster towers for their build quality, design, and customer service after the sale. My friend had a hiem joint problem and no questions asked the sent him all new hiem joints.

Phat Budde makes some sweet towers, but for the money, I got all the toys on my tower and a sound system. I've not regretted the decision.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Where to mount the tower?
I decided to purchase the Monster Tower. I went this direction because I did not want to have any structural problems with my boat. I have noticed in some of the pics that people are mounting the tower on the side of the boat or on the top. Why is this? What is the difference between the two mounting positions?

Try these guys:

I did a bunch of research, and found them by asking local board shops. They did an excellent job, and they built it ON my boat. They did say they could do if I wasn't local, by trying to find similar model boat in the area, and taking measurements.
The great thing about having it custom, was that they made sure it fit around my large custom bimini, and they mounted to the strongest spots, etc. The fit and finish, and the quality of installation were top notch. I paid $2200 out the door, including powder coating of my choice.
Here are some pics of my old boat I am selling with this tower, and you can see many pics on their own site.
