    Bimini

Picked up new 22 ve on weekend. Dealer in australia struggled to fit the bimini ( geniune tige bimini extra large size on tige tower) no details supplied picture in brochure was differant. When fitted seem to be now way to easily fold up wiht our removing it. Has four attachment on either side would be a three man job if it is even slightly windy. They say to tow with bimini up and just allow it to flop into boat when tower is dropped for shedding.

Does any one else have one of these. Has the local dealer got it wrong?

I have an 06 22Ve also withe the Tige tower and I believe it's the Tige bimini? To put up and take down, you have to remove the front and middle bows from thier 'sockets' and fold it back. Then the front bow goes into the middle bow's socket, this keeps it from flopping around while in the storage.

Do you have any pics, I may be able to take some of mine later so you can see is its like yours.

    Congrats on the new boat

        Graham,
Welcome to forum! I lived in Australia for a few years, but I was way up North with the banana benders in Queensland. So, is it true that your propellers go the opposite direction since you are south of the equator? <just kidding> I am looking forward to hearing more from you.

        Cheers
