    Help with speedset in 2006 22v

    Hey guys I just bought an 06 22v and love it! Been testing out the speed set and trying to figure it out. So I toggle on the cruise control switch. Then drive and find the speed I want, press speedset button between the up and down arrows.
    Does it save that speed? If I go into nuetral then take off again is it supposed to go back to the speed I originally set or do I have to set the speed each time I go from neutral?

    For example starting and restarting when pulling a wakeboarder.

    I noticed I have digital numbers on my gauges that tell the engine hours, depth, air and water temp. Does it show the speed too or should I consider new gauges for more accurate cruise control.

    As long as the engine is not cycled between pulls, the cruise will reset once the previously set speed is reached. Just dont over shoot it too much. Also, be sure to bury the throttle once the cruise locks in. Leaving the throttle right at the set point can cause some surge.

    No digital speed display on the 06. Would have to contact Faria about a compatible gauge that shows digital speed.

        The 06 speedset can be touchy, just an FYI it can overshoot speed up to 5+ mph when coming to speed. Just be patient with it once it catches it overshot the speed it will come down and be pretty accurate. Also the 06 runs off of the paddlewheel for speed, so what may indicate 21 mph on your speedo may not be 100% accurate, helps to use a gps to verify speed.

          There should be an offset in the gauge you can set so its a little more accurate.
