New to me 23V!

So checking out the wobbly tower and I notice the front 2 attachment points are missing the special washer that hold everything in place, so they move up and down.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement for this guy?

That's not a bad run for Summer! Very similar to what we do out here in Cali... Can't wait to see how long people ride in Texas... That is our next stop.

Well remember how I said the taps pump was different than the Bennett unit? It's apparently much more powerful too!

Rewired the taps with new relays and got it working. Took the boat on it's maiden voyage and all went well. Steering a little tight but otherwise good. When I got home I decided to play with the taps a bit and while running the tab down I held it a little too long and BANG one of the cylinders exploded. Atf everywhere!

So I bought the correct Bennett pump today and I guess I'll call Bennett in the morning to get a new cylinder.

When I got the boat someone had already installed some Bennett rams and teak surf gates, but they were poorly done, a bunch of extra hydraulic line and they were teed into the taps system making them a real bitch to work.
I've Plasma cut the fins from 3/16 stainless (photo later) and will be using the free side of the bennett pump to extend and retract them, wired into the dash. There will still have to be a hydraulic valve to choose which side to use, can't decide whether to run it to the driver area or just deal with it in the back, I don't see switching sides that often.

The stainless fit much better to the platform and should look nice and have a smoother surface for the water to flow on.

PO Was clearly a dumbass in a LOT of ways. That being said I'd say this was done long ago as the teak gates are in rough shape. ( but judging by the level of dumbassery elsewhere It's not inconceivable that they just never put a finish on them)

I own a countertop and fabrication business, I've got CNC plasma, router, plotter etc.
I can certainly do aluminum, shoot me a pm if you've got something in mind.

Oh man, ive been dying to find somebody that can do aluminum CNC and fab work. Ill PM u some of what i need from time to time.
