    switch v wake vs. 22v

I was just wondering if any one can compare the switch v wake to the 22v wake? Our club is getting a switch and I am just curious on how it compares. I rode a 22v last summer and it was amazing, it had real nice pop and a nice lip. The pros at the comp loved it as well. The tige dealer told me that it would be bigger than what I rode at the comp because the boat was in shallow water 4-6'. He said in about 10' that is when you get the hole characteristics of the wake at full potential. obviously the 22v will be bigger at the same depth! I just want to know how they compare.

I just took my new 22v out and started the break-in period this weekend. With 4 people the wake is phenominal at wakeboarding speeds! As far as the 22v vs the switch, the 22v will be wider, but I believe that the shape should be similar.

from what I understand, the switch v has the same hull as the 20v, so it's wake should be identical, or close to it (dont know about weight distribution on the switch vs 20v). It'd be an interesting side-by-side comparison tho.

I have been told the Switch V is the same hull as the 20V. I think the only difference between the 20V and the Switch V is that the 20V sweeps back to the swim step whereas the Switch is straight down in the rear. I could be wrong but I thought I recognized that. Unless it was another boat I am thinking of.

              Advertised weight difference:
              Switch V 3,505
              20V 3,880
              22V 3,945

I was surprised at the weight difference between the 20V and 22V.

I think ssrgeoff hit the nail on the head, my dealer said the Switch V was made from a new mold based on the 20V hull. It just doesn't have that steep rake in the transom.
