a sea strainer is a must as far as im concerned. i cant even begin to tell how many boats come in every month all makes and models with the tranny cooler clogged up because they dont have a sea strainer. but do rember to check it everytime out. ive also had people that get them and never check them. it only takes 30 seconds to check and clean it every time. going without one makes no sense to me. they dont cost that much and can save you lots of time and money. every tige we sell leaves with one on it.

I would recommend the sea strainer , its not that expensive and saves on possible repairs no matter what water your on. Dom@ Inboard Connection.
