    Pricing on a V20 Limited?

Looking at purchasing a V20 limited. Both my wife and I grew up skiing, but our kids are young and more intrested in boarding. We like the family friendly seating of the V20. We need a smaller boat for dock/space issues etc.

In short, I want to know what I can expect to pay for a V20 with the following options. How much discounting can I expect to get or go after? Here are the option I need

    Custom Trailer
    335hp engine opt.
    TAPS2
    cockpit table
    docking lights
    heater
    collapsable tower
    Bimini top
    Power Premium Upgrade (Audio)

Does anyone know of a good dealer in the Midwest?

I know where a good demo 20V is for $34K, it has 30 hours on it but it is in South Carolina. Go to http://www.gunnellsmarine.com. It doesn't have a heater, but the dealer can install that, has about everything ele your looking for.

There is a Tige dealer in Louisville, see there web site at http://www.flerlage.com/

Thanks for the input on the pricing. It looks like the pricing reflected above is at list. Any idea what discounting levels Tige dealers are willing to offer (ie. 5, 10, 15, 20% off list)?

Well, From what my dealer had these were discounted prices from list, if you can get it cheaper I'd like to shop your dealer! My dealer beat the socks of the Malibu and Mastercraft dealer after some back-and-forth over the last few months. From what I could tell, it was about 10% of list.

Is the base price a list or discounted price?

The base price I mentioned for both boats is the discounted price, his list, or sticker price is around $37-$38. MSRP is $43-$49K.

On a side note, I actually went out on a demo in his 22V today, just an awesome boat! I had my wife and two children as well, the extra room in the 22V I think is worth the few grand over the 20V. The boat also has a 10" wider beam.

She really enjoyed the fact that she could stretch her legs all the way out in the bow and lay her head back on the contured seat. The 20V bow wouldn't allow her to do that since it is so much shorter, also remember you really only get 19' of boat with the 20V, you lose a foot due to the steep rake in the transom.

It was windy in Nashville today, and the solid ride of the 22V was just incredible, I mean it was white capping and the thing just plowed through and rode surprisingly smooth. And the wakeboard wake was great, we went back into some coves that were much smoother to test that out. And with the dealer, my wife and son sitting in the rear corner seats, you should of seen the wake surf wake at 11 MPH, it was awesome!

You mentioned Nashville. What's the name of the dealer?

I noticed the extra room in the bow as well as the beam demensions. Our issue is one of space with our current water level dock/garage. We can't have a boat that is wider then 104'' beam. I agree the extra room of the 22v is appealing.

That being said, have you been on the water in a 20V? I would love to know what you think about its wake, ride, slalom wake, etc.

One last question. Is the 315hp engine EFI or 4 barrel carb? I am nervous about buying any boat that is not fuel injected these days.

I've never been on the water in a 20V, but it shares the same hull as the 22V. Also the Switch V is the same exact hull as the 20V, my dealer told me they just took the rake out of the transon when building the new mold for the switch.

This link will take you directly to a bunch of photos of the 20V wake at wakepics.com.

Unweighted the 20V and 22V put out a great wake. The slalom wake was good on the 22V, I'd imagine it'd be close to the same on the 20V.

The 315 is a carb engine, you'll need to upgrade to the EFI. I planning on going with the 335 Vortec.

The dealer is Ski Hut, there a great bunch of guys and very knowledgable about boating and the sport. You can see there web site and some of their boats at http://www.skihut.com

actually, the switch V and the 20v share a hull with dimensions of 20'0" long w/ 96" beam. The 22v is similar, but is 21'8" long w/ a 102" beam.

EFI stands for Electronic Fuel Injection... I think you can take it from there.

The 315hp Mercruiser MAG MPI is a multiport fuel injection setup- which is what you want.

Tigé also offers a 315hp engine that has a carb.
