Early model 22V & 24V stringers

Did any of the 22V or 24V models have wooden stringers when they were first rolled out? I know the wooden stringers had a robust lifetime warranty and all, but the idea still scares me. I've been looking at some 2003-2004 models for sale, but I prefer to avoid any models with wooden stringers.

My 2006 does not have wood stringers but I do not know what year that started.

I believe the last year for wood was 2001 in the Tiges (not 100% certain). I know they still used some wood in the center floor piece over the gas tank in the 2003s but I believe that is all and also could be easily changed to composite piece.

I was doing a lot research into this as well and the best answer I could find was 2003 and newer no wood anywhere. We had to replace floor in our larson runabout and said never have any wood ever again. Don't quote me but this was what I found from a few sources.

2003 and earlier boats had XL Panel for the floor and stringers, 2004 they switched to Penske Composites.

Would it be possible for 2003 22v or 24v to have wood? I originally thought those boats were released in 2004 but have seen a few for sale as 2003.

2004 and newer are composite boats. The 22v and 24v came out in 2003.

I was told that even if they are wood it shouldn't matter, because they are covered in fiberglass and therefor waterproof. Is this not true?

That is true. Lifetime warranty from Tigé and Greenwood Company.

Anyone know if the wood's lifetime warranty transfers to new owners when boat is resold, or if the warranty is voided if you drill thru the hull to plumb in ballast? Does a wooden 24V weigh significantly more than a composite 24V?

Composite actually weighs more if you believe the press release:

Those brands did not use Greenwood XL panels either.
