Throttle Leverr Issue

Looking for troubleshooting advice on an issue I experienced on my first day out on the lake this season. Generally my throttle lever will move forward smoothly with one finger but at times, I had to force the lever forward when trying to pick up speed. This seemed to occur intermittently. Is there an adjustment needed or is the lever faulty? Trying to avoid making trip to dealer. Thanks for any advice!

I had this problem on my 2013 RZR last year.
I disconnected the shifter from the cable and test it. In my case the shifter assy had failed and had to be replaced.
