    Phoenix Trailer Problems

As many of you know I had significant problems with my trailer. The dealer, Sea Ray of Knoxville, did what they could to resolve the issue. The trailer manufacturer left me feeling short changed. The details on the problem can be found at this link.

Well the trailer was returned to the dealer and to the manufacturer. Some problems were found with the major problem being a kink in one of the brake lines in the surge coupling.

Sea Ray of Knoxville stood up for me and got the trailer fixed. They also got the tow of the trailer paid.

However the trailer manufacturer refuses to pay for the $115.00 that I had to pay for boat storage. I had a day on the lake ruined, much time lost, and an expense that I incurred because of a problem with a trailer that was one year old. The dealer has done what they can to convince the trailer vendor to pay the charge. No dice.

So my advice to anyone seeking to purchase a Tige boat, or any boat, is to avoid the use of Phoenix trailers. They do not fully stand behind their product and cover expenses incurred by their customers.

So thumbs up to Sea Ray of Knoxville. A big thumbs down to Phoenix Trailers. Avoid Phoenix trailers if you value your boating experience.

    That is good to know.

Too bad they didn't have $115.00 lying around, could have saved them $1000's in bad pub.
