Whitewash on Wake

I have a 24V and noticed that when I'm pulling below 20 mph, I get pretty significant whitewash on the driver's side wake. I've tried adjusting the Taps and having people move to different positions in the boat, but nothing worked.

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do about it other than pulling a little faster?

I found that on my 22v making a very slight...as in hardly noticable...arc to the right got rid of the slop. I have a friend that rides slow and goofy and we had to experiment how to get rid of that. He said that he can't even tell that we are turning behind the boat and that he likes the cleaner edge when we do that. I'd love to hear any other remedies though.

more weight towards bow, taps to 1

make sure weight is even from starboard to port.

you'll reach a point of going slow where it is impossible to clean up the wash...

you may even try a shorter rope.

I get the best results with the weight as much forward as possible and the TAPS all the way down. I still struggle to get a clean wake at 19 MPH.

I generally have given up and assume that when the wake quality matters, you will want to be going 20 or better. For kids and newbies, I go slow and speed up when they understand how to hit the wake.

I'm with Tall on this one... The kids were riding at 21 last week and had absolutely clean wakes on both sides. You can adjust the taps and get a little better shape out of the wakes between 15 and 20...but the slower the more impossible it is to get a completely clean wake.

I have a 24V also. You need 10 people in the boat.. This year pulling my daughter at 18 and moving people around. First time I had both sides of the wake clean. Actually slowly moved her up to 19.5. Great feeling as last year wake I could not get a decent wake but only had 4 or 5 people in the boat. I also do the slight turning during her run. Had taps at about 6 for perfection.

Definately adjust weight side to side, move passengers one at a time to the side that is washed out until it cleans up. Could be as slight as the driver standing in the walkway (I usually stand for some bizzar reason when I drive and have notice that my 230 pound overweight body does make a wake difference.
