I love my 05 22V. I got it last summer and surfing wireless with only 700 lbs ballast & DIY Surf gate. Getting more weight this summer and can't wait.

I like your color scheme and wish mine had the red (mine black only). I don't see any tower racks and those are a must have. mine had the factory wakeboard racks which are not that great and aftermarket are expensive. work a deal for a pair Wake/Surf swing racks (samson makes a nice system) Good luck and hope it all works out in your favor.

I've got the same boat (exact MP engine and teak platform) and love it. Follow captainkurk's advice. You definitely want tower racks and the factory ones that I/he have aren't the best. I'd love wakeboard/wakesurf combo racks on mine, but i'm making do with the monster cargo bimini (which is still nice). I never even figured out what the "rider's edition" actually gave you, if anything at all, anybody else know?

I'd get some details about the existing ballast set-up also, just so you know what you're dealing with and may have to replace/upgrade to get what you want. Then just look it over head to toe when you get your eyes on it.

I never even figured out what the "rider's edition" actually gave you, if anything at all, anybody else know?

From what I recall, I think the only difference in the Rider's Edition was the more "tribal" graphics.

The 24v listed at 24'10" is a typo its 23'10" per the title on my 2004.

2006 24ve w/ 380 hp 250 hrs w/speed set and 1235 prop.

I was set on a 22v, but this is a real nice boat. Is it worth it? Is it too long, big or heavy? I know the wake is probably bigger but I would still like to ski recreationaly along with the surf. Does it like the gas as apposed to the 22v w/315-340hp?
