    2001 2100 V, My First Tige

Here are some pics of the Tige. I bought her at the beginneing of the summer, but didn't get her all sorted out till mid summer.
-New MonsterII tower, with storage top, Board and surf holders, 4 Kicker tower speakers
    -new kicker amp and sub
    -1200 in ballast
    -FAE exhaust
    -new gauges
    -all serviced up to date
    -rebuilt trailer brakes and hubs

Boat has about 500 hrs on it. The previous owner kept some good records, although she was neglected a bit the last year as it sat outside. Other than that was kept in dry dtorage, has some repaired apholstery, and also has Perfect Pass. I have a few more winter projects planned for the Tige over the winter. I did get the wake dialed in for some good surfing before the season ended.

Nice...welcome aboard! We also bought a 2001 a couple months ago. I'm sure we'll both be counting the days until Spring. Gonna' be a long wait.

One more trip left in our first season with our 21V. Thanksgiving on the Parker Strip. ( I love AZ) Couldn't be happier with our Tige and I hope that is your experience as well. It looks very nice!!

Hell yeah! Love my Tige 2100V Limited Edition! Welcome to the club.... Looking good. I have had a few hiccups with mine but I found my boat on the East Coast. Did you upgrade the brakes on your trailer to Disk?

jimidemo.... How's the water/air temperature?! Parker is where I started a lot of my boating back in 1997... Used to stay at Riverland.. The only place with Gas on the water.. haha

Thanks for the kudos, I bought the boat from Aqua Sport Marine. They are in Lebanon, TN and I highly recomend them. They rebuilt the brakes at no charge so stuck with the drums. It stops fine, and I pull it a couple times a year to the slip and back to the garage with an F-350.

Are these boats heavy or is it just my imagination? My previous boat was an '05 chaparral sunesta 21 foot boat that I bought new. That was lighter (6600lbs with trailer and 1/4 fuel) than this boat it seems. Has anyone actually weighed their boat? I have had the 350 for a while and it pulls it fine, but it is more noticeable than the chaparral was.

I had a late start to the season, was going to buy a new Axis but I just couldn't stand spending 70G on a boat that might not get used a whole lot. We did run the heck out of this thing though in the 2 months ending the season. I am suprised how big the boat actually is. I really do love it.

Has anyone ever cleaned the engine compartment? This boat has had years of little oil spills that need a good cleaning.

                  Glad to join the club!

One more pic as I put her away for the winter,,, need to work on that swim platform this winter. Towed it behind my Expedition as well. Not so bad. :-)

For cleaning the engine compartment, there are products for that (search bilge cleaner), but simple green sloshing around would be a good start.

As far as weight, my bud has the same boat and he swears it weights 1000lb more than the spec sheet. And no, it's not water logged, stored on a lift under cover. They are just heavy boats for their size.

Purple Power or Purple Cleaner works good. I thought I recognized that boat.

Agree... I pull my 2100v with a Tahoe, and it struggles. These boats are heavy.
