    Perfect Pass not holding

We took our new 24Ve out for the weekend to break it in. Great boat! Everything works great except for the Perfect Pass. With the factory ballast full it holds surfing speeds of 11.2 and taps 3 fine. When we get to 23.5 mph taps 6, it will not hold. surges between 20 and 26. going back to driving by hand is no fun... I am spoiled. Does anyone have ideas as to getting this thing dialed in. yes, I have the manual and adjusted NN, CA, CS ect.
    Thanks.

      2kims,

What are CS and CR set at? I had the same problem and called Perfect Pass. They were very helpful. On my 20i I think my CS is 950 and CR is 1850. I will try to check tomorrow and let you know for sure. PP told me that you need to set CS & CR first, then tweek it with NN & KDW.

My trouble was in Slalom mode, which uses CR. Mine was set at 1350 and that was way too low! It would surge from 24 to 30 MPH. Now it will hold with .2 - .3 MPH. Close enough for me.

In wakeboard mode, mine has always held within .5 - .7 MPH. I will tweek it some more at Powell next week. I haven't had time yet.

When we all figure out the settings for the different boat models, we should post them in the how-to section. That would have saved me some frustration!

does it have anything to do with the KDS or whatever it is that affects how well the PP holds your speed?

I'm Back in town. Sorry it took so long... work you know. He is the fix John at Staton Motor Sports came up with. Replace the computer that talks to the PP from the Marine Power motor. John put it in the water and dialed it in. so we are ready to go again.
We broke it in ar Shasta two weeks ago. Ready to hit it again. Here's a pic.
