Ditto on the congratulations!!! I think you will be very happy with your new Ve...the other nice thing about the Ve is the extra interior room...you get a foot more room in the boat which makes it feel pretty spacious... Congrats again!!! What part of the country do you live in and where do you boat?

Sounds like a wonderful place to boat!
Ok...so here is my only other advice on the boat purchase... Go a little crazy on the stereo... It will never be cheaper to add stuff in than when you buy the boat and it's all being done right from the get go. I had my minor mid life crisis on the stereo in our boat and couldn't be happier each time we take it out. Enjoy and congrats again! wranglerLast edited by wrangler; 07-06-2006, 05:04 PM.

I agree with Wrangler - go all out on the stereo. It has been the best part of the boat for me. Kids really have a ball with all of the noise (if YOU can handle it).
I'm not sure I agree on the price of the stereo as a factory option. That might be a topic for a whole 'nuther thread. Definitely have them drill the holes and run speaker wire for you (buy the basic system). I think you can get better aftermarket stuff for cheaper if you are willing to install it yourself.
I am sad to see that they have stopped making the 24V. Another leap in price...Be excellent to one another.
