New to me 2000 2300V Limited

We are the proud new owners of a 2000 2300V! Had it out for the first time this past weekend and love it so far! It is my first venture away from a direct drive, any suggestions, opinions on the model, or advice on the 2300V??
    Pics to come!!

    thanks, Rick

Great boat! We have a 2000 2300V Limited. This is our second full summer with it. Finally started to dial in the weight for surfing. Would love to see some pics!

We have a 2000 21V Rider's Edition and love it.
If you have the Mercruiser MIE 350 Mag MPI engine I have a list of part no.s/info I can send.
The 3 best things we changed/added to ours was a different prop, Perfect Pass and Fresh Air Exhaust.

We love ours as well. Perfect Pass (AKA marriage saver) is our favorite add on as well. Will need a prop for surf weighting. Pics or it didnt happen

Pictures offer the proof that this boat you speak of exists! Lets see the goods! Congrats on the purchase!

I recently bought a 2000 2100V Limited Edition and have only had it out on the lake once (winters coming and had to put it in storage). Any recommendations for it? Its pretty much stock, so no tower, perfect pass or ballasts? Am I going to be able to surf behind this thing without ballasts? How's the slalom wake?IMG_2631.JPG

              Welcome aboard...nice boat!

I recently bought an '01 2300V so it's similar, but maybe just different enough that my experience won't help. When first taking it out I was surprised at how big the wake was without ballast. I did surf that way, but never ropeless. I was just learning surfing so it didn't really matter. Then I added bags (750 in the port locker, 400 in seat in front of it, and 400 in the bow on the floor). I was able to surf ropeless after that. Just for fun I may go back to stock to see if I can now that I'm getting the feel for it. Too bad I just winterized the thing.

As for slalom wake, mine's bigger than I like. Yours may be smaller being a 21'. I've heard it gets better the more you speed up & I've only had 2 slalom runs so far so I'll tweak that. For a crossover boat it's pretty good.

You may get more feedback if you start a new thread in the surfing or general discussion area.

              Enjoy the new toy!

I have the 2001 2100v limited with the Monster II tower, and love it. I added ballast with two 400lbs fat sacs and a 350lb fat sac.

I put one 400 in the rear locker, one 350 in the port side seat locker, and the 400 between the front seat. Can't fill the side bag all the way.

Throws a nice clean wake with the tank full, TAPS at 2 ( keeps FAE spray out of my face), speed set at 10.5, one adult driving and my two little girls in the back port side corner (not much added weight).

I will add some weight for the next season, but I went cordless with no problems on a 6 foot hyperlite board.

I haven't tried to slalom yet behind her. I will next season though. I think it won't be a problem.

one other thing I added that I really like is the Fresh Air Exhaust. i know the 5.7 sounds good, but the boat is so quiet now and the rear passengers and surfers don'e smell all the nasty.
