I had the same problem. It was a broken transmission cooler. You will find the transmission cooler lying on the bilge on the drivers side underneath your alternator (Assuming you have marine power 340hp engine with bottom mounted alternator)

I have the Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI - what does the transmission cooler look like and where should it be...? Not sure what to look for but I haven't seen anything in the bilge.

There will be a pair of hydraulic hose running to the cooler, from the transmission. Locate and fallow those lines, they are about the size of your thumb.

mdk681 - did you ever drain/refill/run the boat to see if you still had water intrusion?

I did drain and refill. I need to check this week, I only used the boat once last week and didn't have time to check after running. I was able to locate a leak - it was the pesky o-ring behind the shift lever on the transmission that many others have seen. I ordered the o-ring and gasket and plan to replace later this week, along with another flush and re-fill. Crossing my fingers I don't find water.

I'm now dealing with another ATF leak coming from my TAPS system somewhere yet to be located. Between the no wake ban and all these leaks I'm starting to think summer/boating is out to get me...!

Ha! no kidding....my wife wants to go to Minnetonka this weekend as the kids have a wakesurf comp in Cook's bay in two weeks. You are more than welcome on our boat, we surf but have been known to pull a wakeboarder once in while....

I've pretty much hung up my wakeboard and only surf these days too... LOL small world, MNWSC is the comp right? I know the organizer and I'll be riding in the amateur skim division, I live on Spring Park Bay on Tonka. I've been riding behind my buddies 2014 23 LSV to get ready for the comp as that's the tow boat, just to get used to the wave for the comp. I'm gonna dig into the boat deal more this week, but I'll let you know and thanks for the offer!
